From 3rd to 6th November, Genoma will present its exclusive genetic tests, including Tranquility and Tranquility 52, and will hold a symposium featuring a table of experts.
Among them: Prof. Dr. Olivera Kontic, Dr. Karim Kalache, Dr. Javier Pérez Pedregosa and Dr. Marta Moreno will talk on the subject: «Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing, where we are and where we are going».
The Swiss company will be showcased in a 30 m² stand in the exhibit area of the Municipal Conference Center of Madrid and about 3500 medical doctors, specialists and experts from across the world will have the opportunity to learn more about its products and services.

Here follows a short biography of the distinguished doctors who will highlight Genoma’s round table:
- Dr. Olivera Kontic was elected Secretary General of the South East European Society of Perinatal Medicine in 2013. Her medical career is outstanding: graduated Doctor in Medical Sciences at the University of Belgrade, she obtained the title of Specialist in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the Clinical Center of Serbia. Since 1999 she has been a regular lecturer in obstetrics and gynecology at the University Medical School Academy and at the School of Perinatal Medicine. Author and co-author of 162 scientific publications, Prof.Dr. Kontic also gained the title of Visiting Professor at the prestigious School of Medicine at Yale University.
- Karim Kalache, member of Qatar Foundation, is Professor and Vice Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics at the Charité University Hospital in Berlin where he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1996. He finalized his Maternal-Fetal Medicine fellowship at University College London in 1999. In 2001 he became a member of the Fetal Imaging Department at the Perinatology Research Branch in Detroit, Michigan. He was also appointed Senior Lecturer at the University of Southampton in 1996 and full Professor in Obstetrics at the Charité University Hospital in 2008. Dr. Kalache has authored and co-authored over 70 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on topics related to fetal imaging. He is Section-Editor for Prenatal Diagnosis, consults for many journals, and often lectures at conferences in Germany and abroad.
- Javier Pérez Pedregosa is a leading gynecologist specialized in Ultrasound Prenatal Diagnosis and Maternal Fetal Medicine since 2003. He is currently responsible for the Spanish Gynecological Association unit, as well as the head of the Ultrasound and Prenatal Diagnosis unit of the Institute of Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine. Graduated from the Complutense University of Madrid, he leads a distinguished career. He has written in various foreign publications and has held many courses and conferences around the world.
